Antique Early 1900's 14k Gold and Diamond Woman's Profile Shell Cameo Brooch / Pendant
This is a lovely, deeply carved, shell cameo of a woman's profile in a soft cream color with a light brown background set high in a 14k solid rose gold frame with finely ornate setting. The brooch is marked with “14k” on the clasp.
The image and quality of the carving are beautiful and the oval pin / pendant for necklace (combination piece) is very eye-catching. It is 2.1” (53mm) high and 1.7” (43mm) wide and weighs 14.73 grams. It has a bail at the top that allows it to be also worn as a pendant.
