A masterwork of glass by Murano Maestro Renato Anatra. These 'three birds in a tree' were probably made in the 1970s and I've not seen another like it anywhere, in person or online. Mr. Anatra signed this awesome glass on the bottom.
The colors of the birds and clarity of the clear glass are what you expect from a Murano Maestro such as Mr Anatra. Exquisite.
Co-founder of Arte80 with Andrea Tagliapietra, Renato Anatrà has been one of the most prolific glass sculptors in Murano. His artworks are incredible masterpieces, made to be shown in public. Anatrà has been one of the most important exponents of contemporary Murano glass sculpture .
This once in lifetime piece is 12" wide and 12.5" tall at its tallest.
The base is about 5". Weight is 6 lbs.
