vintage Native American theme hand painted on velvet wall decor

Beautiful scene hand painted on black velvet depicts a Native American chief or warriors profile with a bald eagle in the foreground. A Native American women profile in the water. The background has a full moon reflection on a waterfall. These types of paintings were popular in the mid to late 20th century. I believe this one is from around the 1960's or 70's. The main colors are blue with white and some gold on the eagle. Such artwork frequently depict subjects related to Native American culture and wildlife, particularly eagles. Paintings of the specific subject matter are often attributed to artists like "Del Rio" and were commonly produced in Mexico. This piece is not signed. The back of the wood frame is stamped Made in Mexico. It measures 22 1/4" H X 18 1/4" L. It's in excellent condition. I ship same or next business day.
