Vintage 1940s Cherry Red Marbled Bakelite Teardrop Bead Necklace 26” Decorative Push Clasp
Most likely 1940s–1950s, when Catalin Bakelite jewelry was at its peak popularity and often featured bold shapes and saturated colors.
Beautiful vintage Bakelite necklace featuring large cherry red marbled teardrop beads with small spacer beads and a decorative gold-tone push clasp inset with a matching Bakelite cabochon. The beads show the rich marbling and high gloss characteristic of genuine Catalin Bakelite. Tested positive with Simichrome. Measures approximately 26” long. Classic mid-century design—bold, collectible, and wearable art.
Condition: good vintage condition with light age wear. Clasp functions properly, however the string the beads are on is about a half inch exposed by the clasp.
