A fabulous pair of vintage Bergere clip-on earrings. These large, bold statement earrings feature a round gold-tone setting with a cabochon center inlaid with genuine or faux calf hair (often called pony hair) in a striking tricolor, calico, or cow print. The gold-tone metal frames the hair and creates a swirl, almost YIN-YANG pattern over the top.
Bergere was a renowned vintage costume jewelry brand, known for its quality and fashionable designs, making these an excellent collectible piece. The style is very much in line with 1980s power dressing and is trending now with the VINTAGE revival and Maximalist aesthetics.
