Beautiful piece. It has the original small clasp as shown in photos. Hinge works perfectly. This is really an amazing vintage piece for the vintage jewelry lover and/or the fox lover in your life. It has the CASTLE engraved inside the band near the inside hinge. Images will show time hasn't dulled the attention to details.
Castlecliff opened in '45, closed up in '77. There were signed ones in '55 and shortly after. So I will just safely say that this dates back to the 50s-70s, but with information out there it looks like it would be a lot closer to the late 50s.
