Tested and working PENTAX K-30 body, infrared cut filter removed, with accessories

This is an IR-modified PENTAX K-30 body with the infrared cut filter removed.

PENTAX infrared cameras are rarely sold, and even for businesses that offer filter removal, the service fees are very high. Some businesses won't even accept your camera.
Therefore, it's a valuable item that doesn't appear often on the market.
It has many uses, such as astrophotography and ancient document analysis.

Currently, the only manufacturer in Japan that can remove the filter from a PENTAX K series camera is Hayata Lab, and the removal fee alone is about 40,000 yen. (This means you would first need to prepare the camera body separately at your own expense, which would ultimately cost around 60,000 to 70,000 yen.)

★ The infrared cut filter has been removed. Since the filter has not been replaced, it has the best visible and infrared light transmission among the various infrared specifications. The sensor position has been adjusted, so there is no impact on focus.
★ By adjusting the white balance on the camera, you can take pictures with a somewhat natural color tone even when shooting subjects other than celestial objects.
★ There is no abnormality in the aperture mechanism unique to PENTAX cameras (commonly known as "black death," an issue where only dark photos are taken). Furthermore, the mechanism has been modified to prevent future issues.
★ The exterior of the body has scratches, scuffs, and chips commensurate with a used item.
★ The camera's operation has been confirmed to be good, including AF, power-on, and shutter operation.
★ The shutter count is 5799, indicating relatively little use.
★ The last image is of the infrared emitting part of a TV remote control, taken with this camera and the included SD card. The light, which is barely visible to the naked eye, is clearly captured. At the same time, the background is naturally photographed due to the white balance function. Please refer to this image to judge the condition of the lens.
★ The accessories include everything shown in the photos (a 2GB SD card used for the shooting test, a card case, and a camera case).
★ As mentioned above, the condition is good, but since this is a filter-removed camera that has been disassembled once, please consider it as being outside the manufacturer's warranty.
