U.S. Military Deck Crew Life Preserver Vest, Green Color, Size M, Green Vest Only U.S. Navy, U.S. NAVY DECK CREW LIFE PRESERVER VEST TYPE MARK-I This is a green-colored life preserver vest for the U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier and amphibious assault ship decks, as seen in news footage of conflicts like the Iraq War. It is used by catapult operators for fighter jets and aircraft aboard these ships. This vest does not include a life preserver, only the fabric vest. - Reflective markers on both shoulders and back. - 3.8cm x 3.8cm black Velcro base above the left shoulder marker. - Velcro closure storage space on the right chest, with additional storage space below it. - Vertical and horizontal pockets on the left side, with a divider in the upper pocket. - Front closure with a black US, YKK Vislon zipper and velcro. - Buckle on the inside hem. - Service hole on the back measuring 8.7cm x 2.5cm. - Elastic band sewn under the armpits with a hem adjuster. - Back and right pocket protected by what appears to be a pad made of urethane material.
