The theme song "OKASHi NA DEAi" for the Sasebo sweets shop "OKASHi NA DEAi," created by the diverse POP sound band Friends, is released as a limited edition analog record.
"OKASHi NA DEAi" is a newly written song realized through the passionate request of the shop staff, stemming from Friends member Taro Miura (Guitar, Vocal & Chorus) being from Sasebo. It was used in the shop's TVCM broadcast in Nagasaki Prefecture in 2023, and has been utilized in various promotional campaigns, enhancing the shop's image.
The song was written by Emison (Vocal), composed by Taro Miura (Guitar, Vocal & Chorus), and arranged by Friends, and was released as a digital single on various music distribution services in April. It is also included in the new EP "Ai wo Yamenai" released in June.
This analog record is a limited edition 12-inch version with two tracks. Side A features the familiar "OKASHi NA DEAi -Original version-." And, side B includes "OKASHi NA DEAi -Sasebo version-," which can only be heard on this record. This song, recorded exclusively for this analog record, features Taro Miura, the composer, as the lead vocalist. The chorus also switches with Emison from the original version, resulting in a different feel.
The jacket design is also a special edition, featuring the four members of Friends in the world of the shop's characters, enjoying sweets together.
