Miller Studios VTG 1959 Green Lettuce & Red Tomato Chalkware Hooked Wall Plaques
Vintage, marked made in 1959 and Miller Studios, Inc.
This pair of veggie faces includes a Lettuce Lady and a Tomato Gentleman.
Both are made of chalk
Both have hooks placed in the bottom. Hang pot holders, dish towels, kitchen utensils, etc.
The Lettuce Lady measures approx. 6.5"X6", the Tomato Gentleman measures approx. 5.5"X5"
As is so common to chalkware, a couple chips are noted to the Lettuce, however, they have been long ago colored over in an attempt to camouflage them. No cracks are noted but she does have a bit of paint loss of her red lips.. The Tomato is in better condition with no significant chips or cracks noted.
On their backs they still have the staples used to staple them into their original box. They also have a looped wire on the back for hanging.
