I was an exchange student for a year in Moscow Russia (1991-1992), the 1st year they allowed high school students to stay an entire year with the American Field Service Program (AFS). I traveled around what started as the Soviet Union & ended as something completely different when I left.
This promotional McDonalds hidden/folding pen key fob was a gift I received from a friend that worked at that very first & at the time the ONLY McDonalds in Moscow. The place was absolutely crazy & several of my Russian friends worked there.
I carried this McDonalds fob with me while I traveled (I've seen more old Soviet Republics than I have American states). It is a very well traveled McDonalds item. I was going through a box of mementos from 32 years ago & this was in that box. I thought it a shame that it just sits in a box, so here it is for a collector to enjoy. I attempted to write with it, but that ship has sailed.
