Lot of 19 Original 1930s–40s Industrial Oil Refinery Photographs – C.F. Braun Co

Large lot of 19 original 1930s–40s silver-gelatin industrial photographs, documenting early oil-refinery and petroleum-processing construction. These images come from Southern California refinery projects and include tall fractionation towers, stabilization units, pressure vessels, piping assemblies, scaffold work, and construction scenes in desert/oil-field environments.

9 of the photos are marked on the front with “C.F.B. Co.”, consistent with project photographs associated with C. F. Braun & Co., the well-known Los Angeles engineering and refinery-construction firm active during this period.

4 photographs with Hawthorne Studio, 111 E. 10th St., Los Angeles stamps on reverse

2 original photographs by Gregory Moulin (noted industrial photographer), one with minor edge tear
