Fenton Bicentennial Commemorative Plates are a series of four vintage glass plates produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company to celebrate the American Bicentennial in 1976. The plates were made from 1973 to 1976, and each featured a different historical scene and quote related to American independence. The plate shown in the image is a blue satin glass plate, which is the first in the series, titled "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death." The series was commissioned by the General Federation of Women's Clubs, and the molds for the plates were publicly destroyed on July 4, 1976, making them a limited edition.
